VEOLIA: Unable to leave Jerusalem light rail 23Oct09 October 26, 2009

According to Israeli news reports, Veolia has been made to keep its 5%  in the City Pass consortium + 51% of shares in the operating company for  the light rail and not sell it to the Israeli Dan company for the first  5 years of operation. Dan will operate the trains, with Veolia’s  supervision. The shares will be sold after these first 5 years. This is  because Dan does not have a 5-year operating experience, required by the  original tender.
