Any Palestinian State to emerge will be a client statelet of Israel. No right to defend itself except by troops trained by the US, vetted by Israel and akin to gendarmes in Vichy France. It will be an adjunct space for Israeli commercial and industrial activity. International Law? What is that? Law selectively used at the convenience of the powerful. Even Mrs Clinton's craven commitment to Israel's safety is ill based. Israel will never live in peace in the Middle East so long as it denies Justice to Palestinians. And I cannot believe the way it has failed to gain space in our media as more than even a footnote, less important than the seizing of weapons heading for Syria for instance, a seizure that surely was illegal under international law? was it not piracy?
