ICRC Report “Gaza: 1.5 million people trapped in despair”
See full report under the section REPORTS
In light of the ICRC’s report of June 29 titled “Gaza: 1.5 million people trapped in despair” is it not time for the rest of the world to hold Israel to account? When items such as school textbooks, clothes, toys, lentils, pasta, pumpkin, fruit juice, chocolate, toilet paper, musical instruments and seedlings – items clearly a threat to the Israel’s security – are all on the embargoed list, what does this say about other nations who remain silent? As Israel continues to defy the international call for a complete freeze on all settlement activity, the Palestinians in Gaza are slowly being starved to death. One wonders who will ultimately take responsibility for this man-made humanitarian crisis.
