An Israeli soldier faces a banner commemorating the death of Rachel Corrie during a demonstration against the Wall in Beit Jala. on 21.03.2010.
A group of Palestinians, Israelis and internationals walked towards the lands of Beit Jala which were bulldozed earlier this month by the Israeli authorities, holding a banner commemorating the death of Rachel Corrie. The group was prevented to reach the lands by Israeli soldiers who closed off the road by barebwire. After speeches, the demonstration ended, followed shortly by tear gas thrown by the Israeli army.
