Mark Bradbeer (VIC) writes to The Age re flotilla to Gaza 26 May 10 May 26, 2010

“This month, the World Health Organisation urged Israel to end the ongoing 3-year long siege of Gaza and allow medicines and other basic supplies into this shattered city*. Indeed, an international flotilla of ships with such supplies is headed for Gaza, although Israel has threatened to stop them**, perhaps by ramming*** or hijacking**** them, as they have done previously.

Meanwhile, Israeli company, Alive Productions, accuses Elvis Costello of promoting “cultural terrorism” after he cancelled his Israeli performances (The Age, 25/5/2010, p12). I know which boycott is killing people, but it seems that I don’t own the rights to the word, “terrorism”?
