Klaus Wieneroider (VIC) writes to Foreign Minister re Israel’s attack on Gaza flotilla 31May10 June 1, 2010

The Hon. Stephen Smith,

Dear Stephen, the tragedy unfolding on the fleet attempting to relieve the Gaza blockade today troubles me greatly. I cannot understand how the Australian government can remain silent on this issue. Perhaps you could prevail on the Prime Minister to seek help (perhaps from the guy who created new DNA from scratch recently) in repairing his DNA re Israel so he can see clearly without the help of the Israel lobby. And perhaps our Deputy PM Julia may find her last junket to Israel is long enough ago to have brought the gushing to a stop by now and see the brutal reality of the Israeli war machine. I don’t want to see that guy with the big ears as PM, so please make yourselves a little bit electable – you certainly need a shot in the arm right now in the electorate. Or is the Israel lobby still more important than we, the people whom you ask to vote for you?
