Margaret Cassar (SA) responds to Andrew Bolt’s piece in The Advertiser 2June10 PUBLISHED June 5, 2010

I think Andrew Bolt may have missed his calling in life. Anyone who can  write so convincingly presenting the soldiers of the IDF as victims really should be in PR or advertising. Conveniently he forgets to mention that the IDF is the fourth largest  military force in the world with the unquestioning support of the US military and free access to  their military hard-ware. Israeli naval vessels and air force helicoptors surrounded the boats of  the aid convoy and rappelled heavily armed soldiers under the cover of darkness to capture the boats. Witnesses claim that  as soon as the soldiers reached the deck they started firing live ammunition. Hardly the actions of victims.
