The Turkish humanitarian relief fund İHH hosted children from Gaza at a press conference in Istanbul on Monday as Israel continues attacks on Gaza that have already claimed several lives, most of them children.

The children were there to say that they do not want a new war in the Gaza Strip and wanted to send the message of peace and brotherhood to the world.

The children of Gaza sleep to the sounds of tanks and wake up to the sound of gunfire, a Gaza girl Beisan said. ”I live in the Gaza Strip, and I hope for peace for all the children in the world,” she said.

Another child Mohammed Bashir Saleh said he lost many friends in the war and many were placed in jails as well as their families.”So I can understand what is happening to children in Libya as children living in war, and I can guess their psychological state, and I pray for them.”

The IHH administrative council member who held the conference closed by saying: ”As the Gazan children visit Turkey, the Israeli attack has begun on Gaza killing dozens, most of them children. These children came as guests and left the Gaza Strip for the first time in their lives, and they will return to their land in a few days. We don’t want any child in the world to be killed.”
