AN NABI SALEH: Palestinian activist Manal Tamimi talks about the struggle against Israel’s occupation 22Apr11 April 25, 2011

An interview with Manal Tamimi from the village of An Nabi Saleh.  Manal is one of the amazing women in Nabi Saleh who are at the forefront of the village’s struggle against Israel’s occupation and the stealing of An Nabi Saleh’s land by the illegal colony of Halamish.   Last year, Manal, along with her sister and her cousin, Nariman, were arrested by the Israeli military for taking part in the village’s non-violent struggle against the occupation.   The three women spent more than 10 days in prison, before eventually being released.

In this video interview, Manal discusses the non-violent popular struggle being carried out by her village, the impact the occupation on both her and other Palestinians and their families and her hope of justice and peace.
