THE AUSTRALIAN EDITORIAL: “Shaping Palestine’s Destiny” 27 May 2o11
The Palestinians, who have lost their country because the whole world looked the other way when their inalienable human rights were being violated in the partitioning of Palestine and allowing for its ongoing colonisation, are now asked to validate this monumental and ongoing injustice.
As Israel continues to colonise more of their land it has never been made to recognise, yet alone admit to, the Palestinians’ right to that land nor the wrong done to the Palestinians in creating a Jewish sovereign state in Palestine to the exclusion of the full human rights of the indigenous Palestinians.
What your editorial is asking is for the total surrender of Palestinians of their rights and it shows a contempt for international law which validates these rights.
