If the world held Israel to account for it’s six decades long violations of Palestinian human rights there would be no need to take the drastic actions of protesting at the Proms concert.
It is precisely because the United Nations is powerless to enforce it’s scores of binding resolutions and those in the corridors of power and in the mainstream media continue to protect and even facilitate Israel’s illegitimate dispossession, occupation, colonisation and apartheid policies that no room has been left for those who have the courage to speak against these wrongs but to publicly protest at all institutions that seek to normalize Israel’s behaviour.
