RAMALLAH, (PIC)– The Israeli military court in Ofer has postponed a decision on the demand for the release of detained hunger striker Hana’a Shalabi till next week.

Lawyer Jawad Boulus said on Tuesday the court convened in the presence of the judge of appeal without reaching any result.

He said in a press release for the Palestinian prisoner’s association that the defense told the judge that it could not reach a compromise solution with the military prosecution in the case of Shalabi, who is on her 34th day of hunger strike and whose condition is badly deteriorating.

Boulus said that the judge hoped that he would complete reviewing the case by the end of this week and to issue a ruling early next week.
