JENIN,(pic)– The Zionist Prisons Service decided to move the captive Khader Adnan from the Zif medical center in Safad to jail because his health improved after weeks of treatment for the effects of his hunger strike which lasted 66 days.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) affirmed in a statement on Tuesday (20-3) that the Zif hospital management agreed to transfer the prisoner Sheikh Adnan Khader to jail after his health improvement.
Adnan Khader’s health has improved and recovered and his hospital stay is no longer necessary, said the prisoner’s lawyer Jawad Boulos.
For its part, the PPS insisted on the captive’s safety and asked for avoiding any source of pressure or health risks and warned from bad detention conditions that may negatively affect the captiveâs health.
Thank You.
