OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli magistrates court in occupied Jerusalem ruled on Wednesday that Jerusalemiteyouth Elias Al-Awar should be banished from his home in Silwan.

The court said that the 16-year-old youth should be under house arrest in Jabal Al-Mukabar until his next court hearing and should pay a fine of 5000 shekels while four of his relatives would sign an affidavit pledging to pay 5000 shekels each in case he did not abide by the house arrest.

The same court extended the detention of three Jerusalemite youths until next Sunday, two of whom were arrested at dawn Wednesday.

Families of the three young men said that the court guards refused to allow them to attend the hearing, saying that it was in-camera.
