30 Mar, ADELAIDE: International BDS Day and Land Day March 9, 2012

WHEN: Friday 30 March, 2012 from 6.00-7.00pm

WHERE: Mall entrance to the Myer Centre, Adelaide

Join us at the Mall entrance to the Myer Centre. When you get there, put on one of our t-shirts and grab some fliers to hand to passers by or hold a Palestinian flag while you chat with some of the veteran BDSers. Which ever way you participate, you will be helping to make history! Just one hour of your time. That’s all.

A quick report from our coordinator, Margaret about last Friday’s action:

¡         13 protesters in the Mall  tonight despite the cold and drizzling rain. This includes a young Irish woman thrilled that on her first day in Adelaide she met a group of people who care about Palestine. She’s travelling the world but wants to be on our email list to keep in touch with what we are doing and so she can let her pro-Palestinian friends in Ireland know about us.
¡         BDSers were very pleased with their new “Products to Boycott” fliers especially that they are in colour.
¡         It’s much harder work getting people to stop and talk when it’s raining but lots of people were coming up and asking for a leaflet and we gave out hundreds of them.

Make history! Join the BDS movement!
