Statistics on settler crimes are disturbing as the latest study shows a remarkable increase.
Israeli settlers are dotted throughout the West Bank in settlements. All of them are illegal under international law, but they exist none the less. Jewish extremists are acting in such a way that it is considered by many in the West Bank to be “foreshadowing a systematic and escalating war.
The Israeli military is continuing in the work of settlement building, and the confiscation and razing of agricultural land, the demolition of houses and other Palestinian civilian objects, and the exercise of policy restrictions on the Palestinian civilian population in the areas of (C), according to the classification of the Oslo agreement.
The sudden interest in Olso and area C comes from an interest, says the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights, to expand settlement projects in the West Bank.
