JUSTICE FOR PALESTINE RALLY
Come and demonstrate in support of Justice for Palestine. Since the devastation of the Israeli war on Gaza earlier this year, which saw the deaths of over 1400 Palestinians, the situation for those living in the Strip have deteriorated rapidly. Access to basic goods, such as shoes, toys, building materials, fruit, and livestock, have been blocked by the Israeli siege and death rates are increasing. Israeli settlements in the West Bank are expanding, with the new right-wing Nettanyahu Israeli government, recently siphoning off more Palestinian land to build 450 more Israeli homes.
The Australian government unequivocally backs the Israeli state and we in Melbourne have a responsibility to come out on the streets and show our solidarity with Palestine.
