Thank you SMH for providing Australians with news on the situation in Palestine that finally has journalistic integrity like the recent articles by Ruth Pollard.
Years of pro-Israel bias and virtual censorship of the truth in mainstream Australian media ( similarly conducted during the years of East Timor’s struggle for independence) has colluded in Israel’s impunity to breach international law and commit war crimes and crimes against humanity against the people of Palestine by denying Australians the truth of the matter and thus their consequent pressuring of our pro-Zionist government, as a UN member, to take a moral stand on Palestine in line with its legal obligations to protect Palestinian political and human rights.
I hope that Faifax will continue this most welcome and decent trend.
