A recording of the 3CR “Palestine Remembered” program with special guest presenter Samah Sabawi – the first of a 2-part series commemorating the Palestinian al-Nakba which saw the establishment of the State of Israel and the beginning of the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.  Today, millions of Palestinians make up the largest refugee population in the world and theirs is the longest standing question at the United Nations. Through a mix of classical and contemporary Palestinian poems, this episode of “Palestine Remembered” explores how it feels for Palestinians to be uprooted and exiled from their homes and not be allowed to ever return home.
