Israel warned on Monday its citizens should not to travel to several countries including; the Sinai Peninsula, Turkey, Jordan, Morocco, and Tunisia based on fear of “terrorist attacks” against Israeli and Jewish targets.
The so-called anti-terror commission in the Israeli Prime Minister’s office revealed that this warning comes as a prelude to the Jewish holidays that will take place next month as well as the twelfth anniversary of the September Eleven attacks. They note that al-Qaeda and other political groups carry out anti-Israeli and Jewish operations at this time of year.
The commission confirmed that this warning was based on reliable information from the Israeli Intelligence Service and reflects a real threat.
Thank You.
