JERUSALEM (Ma’an) — Israeli authorities on Sunday ordered the demolition of part of a Palestinian school in East Jerusalem, a Palestinian official said.
Samir Jabril, a Palestinian Authority education official, said the Jerusalem municipal council decided to demolish the top floor of an elementary school in Sharafat village.
The floor, which consists of three classrooms and a staff room, was added in 2000.
Israeli authorities ordered the demolition of the four rooms several years ago, but the school has been fighting the case, Jibril told Ma’an.
Thank You.
