Haaretz    -    27 September 2013
Nine Palestinians were arrested on Friday on suspicion of stone-throwing and clashing with Israeli police forces in several places in East Jerusalem.
One policeman was lightly wounded, and several Palestinians were also hurt. One man said he was hit in the neck by a rubber bullet.
Also Friday, an Israeli was lightly wounded when stones were thrown at his vehicle near Ni’lin in the West Bank.
In the northern Gaza Strip, Israeli troops broke up a demonstration of some 300 Palestinians who had marched to the Israeli border. The border area has been largely quiet since a weeklong Israeli military offensive last November.
Friday marks the 13th anniversary of the outbreak of the second intifada.
