BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) — Three Palestinians were injured when Israeli forces opened fire with live bullets on protestors east of Jerusalem on Friday evening.
Clashes broke out between Palestinian protestors and Israeli occupation forces in al-Eizariya on Friday evening, and Israeli forces opened fire with live ammunition and tear gas canisters in order to disperse the crowds.
A medic told Ma’an that three youngsters were shot in their legs and were subsequently taken to al-Eizariya Emergency Center.
Many others suffered from tear gas inhalation due to the heavy firing of tear gas by Israeli soldiers.
The internationally recognized Palestinian territories of which the West Bank and East Jerusalem form a part have been occupied by the Israeli military since 1967.
Thank You.
